When you have an eye for art—and a penchant for details—you see things differently. Our team knows the intricate ins and outs of protecting and insuring art. From following insurance trends to providing coverage reviews, we set you up for artistic success.
Far from headline-grabbing heists, the most common form of art loss is from mishandling or damage in transit. Our team has the big-picture expertise to protect art in a home, public gallery or on its way to an exhibition.
You shouldn’t have to suffer for your art. But, from a crack in the gallery floor to unsteady sculptures, accidents do happen. Protect yourself from the liability risk of visitors who get injured in your museum or gallery.
Art foundations are the community’s wellspring. To nurture the future without risking your mission, you need coverage that protects you and your artistic assets.
Before Superstorm Sandy struck, Risk Strategies’ Fine Art team warned clients in the area to store inventory safely and quickly. A dealer from Lower Manhattan away on business in Europe, forwarded the emergency email to his office staff, who spent hours moving the inventory from the basement to a safe area upstairs. After returning to the US, the dealer discovered the basement was under six feet of water. Thanks to the early warning, the dealer’s staff had moved the entire inventory out of harm’s way.
