AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Jesse was working as an Assistant Account Executive with DeWitt Stern Group when Risk Strategies acquired the company in late 2014. In this position, Jesse supported three team leaders with large books of business. His managers immersed him in real client work and noticed that Jesse rose to the challenge. About a year later when an Account Executive opening emerged in the department, we had an obvious answer- Jesse was ready to be more independent and take on more responsibility. He was promoted to Account Executive.
We have enjoyed seeing Jesse continue to grow and succeed. Earning another promotion in early 2017 to Senior Account Executive, Jesse’s confidence, personality and ability to communicate well with clients have been his keys to success. Jesse says his favorite thing is the close-knit relationships. “People trust in you. It’s like a small family coming here every day.”
Here’s What Happens
Nicole joined as an Assistant Account Manager in our Employee Benefits practice just weeks after graduating college. She learned the insurance brokerage business from the ground up while taking on increasing responsibility working alongside a Senior Account Manager to build out our Corporate Wellness Program. A little over two years and lots of hard work later, Nicole earned a promotion to Account Manager and was simultaneously named our National Wellness Program Manager.
Nicole proved that she could play an essential role in a growing company while partnering in a thoughtful and collaborative way. Nicole says the rapid changes bolstered her confidence because she had the support of a broader team. “I feel like I can handle it because of them,” she says. Happy in her new roles and particularly enjoying the feeling of ownership for clients, Nicole says she’s inspired to do the best job she can every single day.
