Sandy Leon, Andrew Bonk Bring Proven Experience, Recognized Expertise to Growing National Practice

BOSTON, September 07, 2016 -- Risk Strategies, a leading national specialty insurance brokerage and risk management and consulting firm, today announced it has expanded its Chicago staff with the addition of two experienced practitioners, Sandy Leon and Andrew Bonk, to the company's highly regarded Private Client Group.

Leon and Bonk come to Risk Strategies from the brokerage firm HUB International where, for the past 12 years, they have focused on serving the risk mitigation and insurance placement needs of some of the world's wealthiest families.

A top producer who helped build one of the largest books of private client group business in the Midwest, Leon joins Risk Strategies as Senior Vice President, Family Office Practice Leader for the Midwest, and will be responsible for structuring personal insurance programs for successful individuals across the US and internationally.

With over 35 years of private client and family office experience, Bonk joins as Senior Account Executive in Risk Strategies' Chicago-based Private Client Group, managing a select group of high net worth clients. Bonk grew up in the business, managing personal lines operations for 23 years at Bonk Insurance Agency, a brokerage established by his father, Richard. Prior to HUB International, Bonk was a producer at Talbot Agency, which was subsequently acquired by HUB.
